You can feel what wants to emerge.
You cannot yet see its full shape.
A book.
A business.
A creative project.
A new direction.
A body of work.
A life waiting to be lived.
Something within you already knows it is there.
I help you uncover its deeper coherence, find the language it needs, and give it form in the world.
Founders bringing a new body of work into being.
Artists and visionaries listening for the next movement of their creative life.
Writers carrying a story that wants to be born.
Leaders entering a season that asks for a new expression.
Practitioners carrying work seeking its fullest form.
You arrive with experience, intuition, knowledge, and fragments of possibility.
Together we reveal the thread that connects them.
Scattered experiences become a coherent story.
Unspoken knowing finds its language.
Ideas searching for form become offerings, projects, and expressions that can enter the world.
A vision that lives inside you begins to take shape around you.
A focused encounter for a moment when something is asking to become clear.
You bring the question, the threshold, the longing, or the emerging vision.
Together we listen beneath the surface.
Within days, you receive your Witnessing Artifact — a written reflection, an audio transmission, or both.
A personal mirror for the next movement of your journey.
"Ima sees you as a soul. She looks beyond our physical body and mind."
— Susan Cohen
Some visions cannot cross the threshold in a single encounter.
They ask for the rhythm of concentrated weeks. For the space between sessions where recognition settles into knowing. For the return that carries the next layer.
Across three weeks, you receive:
Three 90-minute encounters, spaced to follow the rhythm of what is unfolding.
Voice-note or email support between sessions, as questions surface and what is emerging asks to be met.
A closing Witnessing Artifact — a written synthesis that carries forward the shape of what you are creating, the language it needs, and the pathway toward bringing it into the world.
"Iman's mentorship brought me back to my true self. I am finally pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a writer." Esther Kalaba
A small online gathering held through a shared season.
Each participant enters their own process while contributing to a field of collective witnessing.
"From the beginning to the end of this journey, I felt held, supported and loved." K.Lia
An intimate immersion on the Nubian Nile.
Six participants. Seven days.
The river, the island, shared meals, silence, conversation, movement, and the living community that has shaped this practice.
A living encounter shaped by the land and community that gave birth to this practice.
Winter 2027.
"I feel a deep shift of liberation that has set me free to BE me in a way like no other." K.L.
I am currently bringing her into the world.
A floating cultural salon on the Nubian Nile.
It is the same journey many of the people I work with are living: taking something that exists as a vision and giving it structure, relationships, resources, and a place in the world.
I do not guide this process from the sidelines.
I am inside it myself.
For more than thirty years, I have entered worlds through deep attention.
Bedouin communities in Sinai.
Nubian villages holding memory and ancestral knowledge.
Founders, artists, and cultural leaders searching for the language of their vision.
My films emerged through arrival, presence, listening, and patience.
Over time I recognised:
The filmmaker and the guide share the same gesture.
They listen.
They observe.
They wait.
They witness.
They create.
Living beside the Nubian Nile has been my greatest teacher.
The river moves according to its own intelligence.
There are seasons of low water and seasons of abundance.
The Nile taught me that every life carries its own rhythm.
The work is to listen deeply enough to recognise it.
The lotus gathers beneath the water until its own moment arrives.
This is the foundation of my practice.
The Lotus-Born Heart follows five movements of unfolding.
These seasons form the architecture of the Lotus-Born Heart practice — first mapped in my book:
Your Playful Guide to Transformation
I am an Egyptian filmmaker, author, and cultural practitioner.
For more than three decades, I have worked where image, story, myth, and human experience meet. My films have received international recognition, including the Special Jury Prize at the Dubai International Film Festival for NOMAD'S HOME, a UNESCO nomination at FESPACO, and a Muhr Arab Award nomination for EGYPTIAN JEANNE D'ARC.
I hold an MA from The Fletcher School and was honoured as an Iconic Woman by the Women Economic Forum.
Living beside the Nubian Nile has become the deepest apprenticeship of my life. The community there gave me the name Kendaka, and the river continues to teach me the rhythm of unfolding.
Every film, every book, every gathering, and every encounter has grown from one enduring question:
What becomes visible when another human being is received with complete presence?
The Lotus-Born Heart is my living response.
"Iman's work helps one pull together all the aspects and fragments of who they are into one, potent, and radically authentic force of nature." Nathan Hirschaut
Tell me about the season you are living.
Tell me what is quietly gathering beneath the surface.
Tell me what is ready for light.
From there, we begin.
